Question

Why am i unable to get past PIN and DOB to efile for my deceased father. My own return efiled without issue.

Previous responses offered clearing cache and browsing history but that did nothing and I am able to efile other returns, just not that one.

Using the TurboTax online editions you can only complete and file one tax return per account and User ID.  If you want to complete another tax return using the online editions you will need to create a new account with a new User ID.

That is incorrect. I purchase turbo tax premiere from Amazon every year and file 3 returns using the same account. My dad’s return was the first one I did and couldn’t not efile it. It is definitely a Turbo tax issue.

@donnkirsch Your post showed you are using the TurboTax Free Edition Online.

 

If you actually purchased the TurboTax desktop Premier edition for tax year 2024, then you should have installed the software on your personal computer and entered the license code during installation.  Did you do this?
