Question

Why are they making me file a Form 1099-NEC? I can't move forward with e-filing without filling it out but I haven't received any nonemployee compensation in 2021

I shouldn't have to fill out this form because I haven't received any nonemployee compensation in 2021, but TurboTax is convinced I *have* to and I can't move forward with filing because of it. Please help.

Delete the Form 1099-NEC

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form
