Why can I not e-file, MFS with NRA spouse as the IRS allows?

I need to be able to e-file, and the IRS says I should be able to, if I put in NRA for Spouse's first name. Turbo tax is not allowing me to efile no matter where I put NRA.

The return can be filed electronically unless your wife doesn't have a taxpayer ID. If she doesn't have an ITIN or SSN, she will need to apply for one. You'll need to print and mail your return along with the TIN application. To prepare the return in TurboTax, you can use a placeholder TIN.
