Why can I not post my payment of 143.00 this morning? I even tried to file extension but nothing. what do i do

only trying to post my tax payment the day after the deadline yet turbo tax will not process my payment it keeps giving me an error code saying check my credentials? why? what do I do? I even tried to file and exdtension but nothying

You can't file an extension after midnight on April 15th. If you wanted to file an extension with a payment, it is too late. I'm not aware that Turbotax allows "naked" payments (payments without either a completed tax return or an extension). If you just want to make a payment to the IRS, you can do it directly at www.irs.gov/payments.
