Why can't i enter data in some fields. My premier version will not let enter an amount for interest, the block is shaded blueish,

Type '1099int' in the Search area, then click on 'Jump to 1099int' to see if you are able to enter your interest that way.

You don't need to have a 1099-Int to do this.

Make sure you are past the blue Pick up where I left off button before you enter the above.
