Why can't I file?

For some reason I have two accounts with turbo tax and I got an email stating I need to finish filing my taxes when in fact I know I filed already! I need help please

You may want to download any information from the unused account and then delete the extra account to avoid confusion in the future.

 

To do this in TurboTax Online, follow these steps:

  • From the left menu, select Tax Home.
  • Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and Show
  • Select the year, one at time.
  • Navigate to the option to download the PDF of your return.
    • The forms are named in the top left and lower right hand corners of each page.
    • Otherwise, you may also want to save the .tax file for at least the prior year.
