Why did my CD say no OS and what is 2016 and 2017?

I do not know why my download has an X across the icon.

also, I now have 2016 download and a 2017 download.

What is going on?

You will really need to contact TurboTax support and speak directly with a support agent concerning this particular problem...This is a new one, not seen before.

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. 

Submit your question/problem during business hours and then use the option for Call (a phone number will be provided for Call) to speak directly with a TurboTax agent -

The 2016 icon I got corrected by downloading again.  But I do not know why I have TurboTax 2017
