Why did the amount that I received from both stimulus checks get subtracted from my state refund?

I was entering in the data for Turbo Tax to calculate how much I was getting back. It asked me if I had received both stimulus checks and for what amount. Then the amount that I entered for both checks were then subtracted from my estimated state refund calculation. Now it is like I am not getting anything back.

What state?

IF Oregon, the amount of the stimulus is applied against your Federal tax Liability....so your OR income deduction for Federal tax liability is reduced....i.e. a smaller OR income deduction.

IF not Oregon, a similar condition may occur if your state allows an income deduction for the Federal tax liability.
