Why did TurboTax not file Form 6251 with my taxes?
How do I determine if Form 6251 should have been filed with my 2023 taxes?
Form 6251 has to do with the AMT. If you need to pay the Alternative Minimum Tax - or if you are close to needing to - then TurboTax will include the form with your filing automatically.
