Why did TurboTax say my spouse's ITIN with the middle number "97" is expired.? She made it in 2018 and was used for the last three years.

You can ignore that message from TurboTax. It is looking at the middle numbers for the ITIN that expired if the ITIN was issued before 2013, the message is in error if your ITIN was issued at any time after 2013.
