Why didnt I get extra money for my child? Did someone else try to claim them?

What extra money did you not get that you believe you should have received? If you were able to e-file and claim your child, no one else claimed the child. If someone else claimed your child your e-file would be rejected. You have not provided any details so we do not know anything about your child---how old is the child, did you enter a Social Security number for your child, did you enter income earned from working, etc.
