Why do I hafta pay 39.95 for state taxes when I'm not even getting anything back . Also I'm already getting charged 59.95 ?

You do not have to file state taxes if you are not required to do so. However, if you want to file them with Deluxe, whether or not you are getting a refund, you will need to pay for the filing. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3374295
