You do not have to pay to file your taxes. There are a number of ways to file your tax return for free. But the tag below your question indicates that you are using TurboTax Deluxe Online, which is not free. You can find some free tax filing options at the following link on the IRS web site.

TurboTax has a tiered cost plan.  For very simple tax returns it is free.  As they become more complex, they will cost more.  If you log into turbotax.com and select start for free, we can tell you if you will be charged for the tax return.
