Why do I have to pay $78.00 for a simple tax return I did myself?

"...that I did myself.."   You did not pay for Live expert help from a CPA---you do not appear to be posting from one of the Live versions that included help from a tax expert.  So...you used do-it-yourself tax software instead of sitting down with a calculator, a 108 page instruction book, paper forms and a pencil with a good eraser.
