Question

Why do I have to pay a fee of 119.00 when I put all info by myself and all I'm filling is a 1099 misc from a former employer.

Also I'm getting charged for something when there isn't even a box 9 to check off when trying file my 1099 misc form.

The fee TurboTax charges is for the use of TurboTax software to prepare your returns. 

The fee is based on the version of TurboTax you needed to use. TurboTax Self-Employed has a fee for your Federal return, as well as a fee for your state return.
