Why do I have to sign on with a 3rd party this year to get information about my tax return. Isn't that what I am paying TurboTax for?

Last year TurboTax told me when it was accepted. I was not forced to sign on to to an unknown company (Mint)

You are not forced to sign on to get information about your refund. The "refund processing fee" is to have a third party bank remove your TurboTax fees from your federal refund and send you the rest. Avoid that hefty fee by paying TurboTax upfront with a credit or debit card.
