Question

Why do I have to upgrade to Turbo Tax Deluxe for having a Schedule B? I had one last year but didnt.

There may be something new on one of the forms you received that requires more than schedule B.  A lot of the 1099-DIV entries generate other forms which may result in having to upgrade in order to move those entries onto the correct forms.
