Why do I only see my federal income tax amount and not my state

Have you gone through the state section? 

To see the state tax amount in the refund meter, you first need to enter all your information under the Federal section.  The program will then transfer all data over to the State section.  To verify if all information under the State section is correct, follow the steps below:

In TurboTax online,

• After sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
• In the left, select State
• Next screen, select your state and Start or Continue ( Make sure you select your state under the Mailing address section under My Info)
• Follow prompts
