Why does an e-file rejection count towards the five max e-filings?

If you tell us the rejection message/code, we can tell you how to fix it. Are you a paid tax preparer?

Also, you are asking from TT Online, which is only good for one return per account.

This happens if you use the wrong SSN accidentally.

Other tax software does this also.

Be more careful.

SSN was correct. TurboTax needs to tweak their rejection solving info and process. I went thru this rejection process twice without success so I just mailed in the tax return. My other e-file tax returns were successful however this was still counted toward my max allowed.
