Question

Why Does my W-2 Needs Review? It does not indicate any errors. I've deleted and re-entered and I'm having the same issue. What do I do?

My W-2 keeps stating it needs review. When reviewed, it does not state what is wrong. I have reviewed it over 6 times and it still says it needs review so  I deleted it and re-entered and I'm still having the same problem. What do I do?

Needs Review means that the software needs some kind of information to correctly process.

 

Are you downloading the W-2 from your employer?  Try entering the W-2 by hand.

 

Are there zeros in some boxes?  In some cases, zeros are considered content and should be deleted (with the {Delete} key).
