"Info from your 2023 tax return" shows all $0.00". How do I import last years data? I replaced my PC recently but it does appear I have last years Turbo Tax Files transferred to this new PC.

The tax data file for tax year 2023, which has a file extension of .tax2023, has to be copied to the new computer with the 2024 TurboTax desktop software.

When you start a new 2024 tax return the software will look on your hard drive for the 2023 tax data file.  If found it will be listed by name.  If not found you can browse to the location where your copied the 2023 tax data file.

Turbo Tax 2023 is installed and I can access my return. When I am in 2024 Turbo Tax I don't see any option to browse for the 2023 return. I don't know how to proceed.

When you start the 2024 TurboTax desktop program, on the first screen, click on the button Start a New Return

The next screen will have a list of 2023 tax data files found, if any.  If the 2023 tax data file is not shown then click on the Browse button.  Then go to the location where you copied the 2023 tax data file.
