Why has the amount of my tax refund that I was quoted from turbo tax changed?

The amount you see as a tax refund or liability is not final until you complete entering all of your income and deduction items.  

 

As you add more income, your taxes will go up.  As you add more deductions or credits, your taxes will go down.

 

Once all of your items are entered into the program and you are ready to file, then the number is final and can be relied upon.  Until then, it is not fixed.
