Why I have such a large return of federal texts

last year my refund was 2580 and now 6086

Have you entered the stimulus checks you received?  Make sure you go to the recovery rebate credit in Federal Review and enter the stimulus money already received.

 

And..

Make sure that you did not add an extra zero in withholding. Look at the withholding on your income documents. Does it line up?

Did your income decrease giving you more EIC?
