Why if my federal was accepted and it’s saying to start my state tax but I’ve done that too and even paid turbo tax the money for doing my taxes!!

Your state tax forms may be paid for, but they may not actually be e-filed yet.

A number of states have been blocked from e-filing until the end of this week due to some forms that require software updating before they can be e-filed.....even one state (Indiana) where a significant bug was found that stopped e-files for that state

Come back on Friday, the 27th, and run thru the state Q&A again...and do its error check, then attempt to e-file it then.....(Unless you come back on Friday and the State status says "Accepted")
