Why is it asking me to redo old w2

If it is asking you to redo a W2 that carried over from last year for a company you did not work for in 2019, you need to delete the unused W2.

TurboTax will give you errors if certain boxes on any W2 are blank. If you did not work for the company in 2019, delete the W2.

While signed in and working in TurboTax

Click on Federal in the left-hand black menu
Click on Income and Expenses
Click on Job (W-2)
On the Here's your W-2 info page, click on the garbage can to the right of the W2 you wish to delete.
