Solved

Why is it saying I have to mail it in just because I had 0 taxable income outside of the 1095-A form I received and it's not letting me edit it or put the right info in.

Sorry for messaging again, I just want to make sure I am doing this right and this is my very first time filing a 1095-A and I want to make sure I do it right. Thank you for your patience.

OK ... if you have no taxable income on the return AND no refundable credits you cannot efile the return per the IRS rules.  SO... the simple  workaround is to enter $1 of bank interest ... this will not affect anything but you will now be able to efile.

Enter interest income in the Search box locate in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to interest income

On the screen Did you receive any interest income? Click on Yes

On the next screen click on Continue

On the screen Let's import your tax info Click on Change how I enter my form

On the screen How do you want to add your 1099‑INT? Click on Type it in myself

Enter BANK for the name of the payer and enter the amount of interest ($1) received in box 1 of the 1099-INT
