Why is it saying I owe when I selected file for free to begin with? It's telling me I have to start all over??????

You are always welcome to start with the Edition, however

1. Sign in to TurboTax
2. Select "Add a State" (We're not really adding anything, just opening the menu).
3. Select Tax Tools on the left side of the screen.
4. Select Tools
5. A Tools Center box will pop up.
6. Select the My Fees box.

You can take a screenshot and print for your records, as your receipt.
