Why is it that On the ES Tax Payment Option Form, the overpayment from 2021 ES taxes can't be entered or does not appear?

You can apply your refund to next year's taxes by following these instructions:

1. Open (continue) your return, if you don't already have it open
2. Inside your return, search for this exact phrase: apply federal refund to next year and then select the Jump to link in the search results
3. Follow the instructions on the Apply Refund to 2022 Taxes screen

It should ask you when you go through the File section  OR

To apply your federal refund to next year, enter it under

Federal Taxes Tab or Personal (Home & Business)
