Why is line 2a tax-exempt interest greater than input of 1099-INT?

i have one 1099-INT with tax-exempt interest with the right total showing on the summary form but yet on the 1040 line 2a it is about triple that amount and i can't figure out where to see the detail of what is making that up?

Tax exempt interest can also be deriving from other forms such as 1099 OID or a K-1.  For example line 16A on a K-1 would be tax exempt interest.
