Why is my federal tax refund amount showing with an amount but my California only states pending with no amount

It sounds like you are still working inside of the TurboTax program and have not yet finished the data entry for the program to compute your California refund amount.  If you are seeing this pending amount somewhere other than the refund meter at the top of the TurboTax program while you are working, let us know where you see it so we can give a more precise answer.
