Why is my state return not ready to download?

I filed over a week ago, and both my federal and state (IL) returns have been accepted, but I am still not able to download my state return.

To download your state tax return after filing, you would go back into the program and access your tax return from the Print Center.

Please take the steps below to obtain a complete copy of your state tax return.

Sign in to your account (if you haven't already done so), using the same login you used to file your return.
Scroll down to My Tax Returns and Documents and click show.
Next scroll down and select Add a State (you are not really adding a state, this will allow you to get back into the program.
In the left side panel select Tax Tools then select Print Center.
Next select Print, save or preview this year's return.
Then select the option to print your 2017 state return. Also select the option to include government and TurboTax worksheets, then select View or print forms.
This will allow you to print your complete tax file.
Once you have finished printing, select Tax Home in the left side bar to return to the home page and click Sign Out in the lower left corner when you are ready to exit the program.

Maybe the website is having trouble today due to the weather? I can see where you're going with the instructions here, but when I try to "Add a State" and click on "Tax Tools" to get to "Print Center" I just get an endless spinning four blue dots.

I would like to point out that on the main Tax Home page if I click on "Download/print return (PDF)" I get the federal return along with the state return stamped with "Do not file. Form not final" on it. If I click on "Preview or print returns" at the top of the page, it tells me that my state return is preview only.

If you are having problems with the program or glitches, please try clearing your cookies and cache.

If this does not work, I recommend trying another browser and checking your internet connection, to ensure you are hardwired.

I just tried it again and I was finally able to get to the Print Center. The earlier problems must have been a temporary glitch somewhere along the line. I had tried several times earlier in the day with the same problem. I didn't change anything on my end.

Anyway, I did manage to find my state return. So thanks for that. I don't know why it isn't made available from the main Tax Home page, but thanks for pointing me to the alternate location.
