Why is the state saying it needs all forms faxed to them because there was an issue with the schedule W

Are you speaking about a Schedule W for the state of Michigan?

Per our updates, you cannot e-file your taxes with the Schedule W. It is not supported by e-file. You would have to print out all your tax forms and submit them to the state.

If this is not for Michigan, please write back with more information so I can assist you further.

Hello,

Are you saying that we cannot be E-file The State of Michigan MI-1040 tax form because of the MI individual schedule W tax form? Am I understanding that I need to file the MI state taxes by printing out the MI-1040 and schedule W? Or are you saying the fix is coming and I will eventually be able to E-FILE both?

@adprakobkij Michigan Schedule W is not supported for e-filing by TurboTax. The schedule is required to be included with the state tax return so you will have to print and mail the Michigan state income tax return for tax year 2022.
