Why is there a $99 item on the order if the tax return service was free
So I filed my federal & state tax returns on Turbotax. I got an email for an order confirmation and on it is an item that says "TurboTax Online Offer for Credit Karma 2022" and next to it is $99. Yet the subtotal is only $0. Why is this? I didn't enter any debit/credit card information. And I chose direct deposit for my returns so i shouldn't have been signed up for any other accounts or credit cards. What is this about? I want to make sure that the service was actually free and that I'm going to be charged with anything.
