Why is Turbotax asking if my ex-husband made any money from interest? How would I know???

Are you using the same account that was used in the past to prepare and file joint returns? If so, that is why stuff about your ex is still popping up. When you get divorced you should start a new account with a new user ID so that all the data from the ex-spouse is gone and will not keep coming up to cause errors for you.

Well somewhere you mentioned the ex-husband because how would TurboTax know about it if you didn't tell them about it. Go back to the my info tab and see if you accidentally mentioned the ex and remove him if you did.
