Why is turbotax showing that form 1040X is not ready for processing? The IRS website shows that it is ready and can be e-filed

With all the late changes to all the forms, many just issued a few days ago, and all the software bugs still being corrected , it is almost impossible to get the form 1040x to work properly for all situations.

.......software wise there are just too many strange decision trees that have to be programmed in this year, many more than in a typical year......and that can take weeks to do.

No rush on an amended tax return anyhow...people who filed with errors ( and the file was "Accpeted") have to wait for their refund, or pay their balance due on the original filing anyhow...amended tax files don't stop the original tax filing form being fully processed.
