Why was I charged $24.99 to e-file state when the deluxe package I bought I Costco said it would cost $19.99 to e-file for state. Can I please get my $5 back?

The price for e-filing a state return in the Desktop (CD/download) platform increases from $19.99 to $24.99 every year sometime in March.  I'm not a TurboTax employee; I'm a user just like you.

I don't like the price increase, either.  The way to avoid that fee (and price increase) is to print and mail your return.

TurboTax prices (all of them) are subject to change at any time without notice.  😞
