 Perhaps you signed up for the TurboTax Advantage Plan. The TurboTax Advantage plan is an automatic renewal of a TurboTax product and funds are automaticallly deducted at a designated time when you sign up. For more info, please see this TurboTax FAQ, Do I have a TurboTax Advantage subscription?

The Advantage plan charges were at the beginning of November so it wouldn't be that. Either you bought the Desktop CD/Download program or paid the Online fees.

If you paid the online fees you locked in the price against future increases.

Or another reason could be the fees for your 2018 return? Did you efile 2018 late and select to have the fees deducted from your refund? If the IRS hadn't sent the refund in time or kept it they charge your bank account for the fees.
