Question

Why was I charged miney to file my taxes when I qualify for free since I made less then the amount? How do I get refunded that money?

 If you answer yes to any of these question, you qualified to file the Free Edition.

  • Is your adjusted gross income (AGI) $36,000 or less?
  • Were you active duty military in 2019 with an AGI of $69,000 or less?
  • Do you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC)?

You may use the TurboTax Online software without charge up to the point you decide to print or electronically file your tax return. Printing or electronically filing your return reflects your satisfaction with software, at which time you will be required to pay or register for the Services.
