Why was my state refund a lot less than what you show on my return I filed with Turbotax?.

Turbotax stated $1883.00 from the state of Iowa for my refund, and the state of Iowa sent me $591.00 and said that all I get for a state refund. Thank you.

If the state changed your refund they will send you a letter explaining why there is a difference. The state does not give any information or feedback to TurboTax about changes made to your refund. They may have dis-allowed a credit, or you may have owed taxes from a prior year in the state, traffic fines, etc.
