Question

Why was my total refund decreased by over $300 when I logged off and logged back in without making any changes whatsoever?

It is possible that there was a program update that happened after you logged out.

 

TurboTax will automatically save your work as you go through the interview. When you sign out, TurboTax will  make sure to save everything before we sign you out.
