Why were we never asked about health insurance?!

Currently you are no longer going to be penalized if you did not have health insurance for the whole year.

 

If you had health insurance through the Market Place and received a 1095-A you still need to report your 1095-A information as part of your tax return.

 

To report your 1095-A go to

  • Deductions & Credits
  • Medical
  • Affordable Care Act (1095-A)

 

If you received a 1095-B or a 1095-C there is nothing that you need to report on your return.
