What are you trying to do?   This tax return is for 2023 income and deductions.

My bad, should have been 2023.

When you say that it will not let you enter the new values I assume that the software is not working for you.  I suggest trying a different internet browser or computer.  You should also try to clear your cache and cookies.  Here's how to do that.

4/11/24 for me right now. I can't log into intuit, and I can't submit a request to have it fixed unless I login first. HELP!

Me neither. Looks like a bug. Insisting I download from brokerage! Can't enter one lousy amount.

You do not have to import interest and dividend documents electronically. You can still type them in yourself, both in TurboTax Online and Desktop versions.

When you are in the investment income section and see a screen that says, "Let's import your tax info", look at the bottom of the screen (see screenshot) and select "Enter a different way":

You will then be prompted to select a type of investment income. After you select "interest", for example, another screen comes up where you can select from different upload methods or "type it in myself:

When you select "Type it in myself", you will be provided a screen where you can manually enter the information.

See this TurboTax tips article for more information on filing with Form 1099-INT.

Are you trying to edit a 1099-INT you imported?   If so, delete the imported entry and enter your tax form manually.   If you are using TurboTax Online, exit the software, clear your cache, and sign back in.  @DIY-B    Preview your tax return before and after edits to see if your entries are sticking.

Preview Form 1040 in TurboTax Online.

Use Forms Mode if you are using the desktop software.

I am using the desktop version. My mortgage lender send a 1099-Int

the program does not recognise the lender and gives me NO option to enter info...
