I have run the update download/installation several times, but I still can't get the program to open.

Reboot your MAC, after rebooting, you can try to open TurboTax again.

If this does not solve the issue, follow these instructions to uninstall and reinstall TurboTax on your Mac

I am running Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1

I have disabled all antivirus software

I have attempted to run on Safe Mode

Each time I remove (following your instructions) and reinstall the software, I get the customary message "This software was downloaded from the internet. Continue?"

I agree, and nothing happens. No processes show up on the activity monitor. No messages from Turbo Tax. Nothing.

    Please assist.

Problems launching the TT App on Mac especially hanging after checking for updates; Possibly due to your TT file being stored on iCloud rather than locally on the Mac. Try launching TT by double clicking the file (on iCloud) instead of opening the App and expecting the App to find the file. Or try moving the file to another folder, then launching the App. It seems like pointers to files stored on iCloud can confuse TT sometimes as it expects the file to be stored locally.  see: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/turbo-tax-2024-mac-will-not-load-under-15-2/00/3417787
