I keep getting my return rejected because it says the AGI for my wife doesn't match the history on e-file. My wife and I filed jointly last year so we received one 1040 form with our AGI on line 11. Not understanding why this is rejected, do i need to figure out exactly how much of the combined was my wifes AGI?

HELP!!!

No if you filed Joint you enter the same AGI for each of you.

Try entering 0 for the AGI.  You might have to enter 0 for each if you.   The IRS might have processed your return later so the AGI didn't get entered in time.  Especially if you mailed it.  That works for most people. See,

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
