Will 2024 Turbotax Deluxe (desktop) allow transmission of a return when 1099 values have been overridden (in the Forms mode)?

Some amounts and ownership information on my 1099-R, -INT, and -DIV forms needed correcting, but new entries are display in bright red characters.

You will probably not be able to e-file the 2024 tax return with those overrides. That information should have been entered in the step-by-step interview. Also, if you have overridden any calculated value that would cancel the TurboTax Accuracy Guarantee.

I find it quite challenging to decide how to answer some of the step-by-step questions to produce the desired result; they need more context. For instance, there is one asked about each IRA: Was the RMD IRA was satisfied? What’s the correct answer when the situation is it wasn’t completely satisfied via that particular IRA, but for my multiple IRAs as a group the RMD was satisfied.
