Question

Will a large inheritance push me into a higher income tax bracket, with regard to my salary and other ordinary income?

No, the inheritance should not put you into a higher tax bracket.  "...  Inheritances are not considered income for federal tax purposes, whether you inherit cash, investments or property. Any subsequent earnings on the inherited assets are taxable, however, unless it comes from a tax-free source." Ref: Turbotax
