Will credit card debt that is only attached to one person (not the primary person) show up on my tax return?

Credit card debt is not shown or entered on a tax return.

Yes I understand that. However last year when we filed on TurboTax, after we submitted the return it showed us an accumulated debt. It showed our mortgage, etc and also a credit card. That card however was in both names. So I’m wondering if a debt will show it it’s only in one name, and not the primary one. Thanks for your help.

You can get your free credit reports from the site below (they should be more accurate).

You can also use Turbo to get your free credit score --> https://turbo.intuit.com/
