Will I get an email from TurboTax after I file an Extention? How do I find out if my Extention was Accepted?

Yes, you will get an email from TurboTax when the extension is either accepted or rejected.  It may take a few hours after e-filing.

It's been several weeks since I filed for an extension. Do not know what is going on!

If you filed for an extension and you did not receive any sort of rejection message, the due date for filing your returns has been extended.  

 

To continue with preparation of your tax return, please follow the steps in this link.  Make sure you file your tax returns by the extended due date of October 15th.
