Will the 2020 stimulus checks come to our TurboTax debit cards, since filing taxes?

The following is the best information we have so far.

SO look at your 2019 form 1040 at the DD info on page 2 ... if that is the same DD info for the Debit card you have then the IRS already has the card info and will send it there automatically.

If not then it is still to be determined if the deposit will go thru the third party processing bank like the original refund OR if you will need to change that DD info in the IRS portal to be built OR just get a check.

How will the IRS know where to send my payment?

The vast majority of people do not need to take any action. The IRS will calculate and automatically send the economic impact payment to those eligible.

For people who have already filed their 2019 tax returns, the IRS will use this information to calculate the payment amount. For those who have not yet filed their return for 2019, the IRS will use information from their 2018 tax filing to calculate the payment. The economic impact payment will be deposited directly into the same banking account reflected on the return filed.

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

This is not right. We chose that option to make it easier and i know it helps you with the banks that provide the debit card service. If i knew this i would just have put my bank info in. it should be sent to the debit cards you issued us. if not you need to open a link for people who filed this year and chose a debit card to upload their bank info. Direct deposits starting hitting accounts tonight, and we will have to wait for weeks for checks because we decided to go with the card you offered? Not right. Make it right turbo tax. All these i dont knows, i dont knows for weeks. Well the money is here and even irs has an option to upload it for non filers. Us turbo card filers need an option also!!! Like asap!

NEVER again will I use a turbo tax product - this is ridiculous. Waiting weeks on a paper check or dealing withit going onto what turned out to be your HORRIBLE card. Can't withdraw the money and put it in your bank without paying atm fees over and over due to limits , no way to electronically transfer your OWN money off that crap card and now at BEST? our stimulus is going to that thing? I would honestly rather wait for a paper check then use that nightmare again. H and R block will be doing my taxes next year for the first time in a decade
