Will we get our full $2,000 state refund when we chose to pay our $600 Fed Tax by check? Last e-file step shows "Total Refund" as only $1,400. Why is it subtracting?

We finished all the Fed and State returns, no errors, everything looked good and shows $600 Fed tax due and $2,000 refund owed us from our State return. We selected to mail our $600 check in so we should expect to get the full $2000 refund back from the state.  Don't understand why TurboTax says our "Total Refund" is only $1,400 and don't want to end up paying twice!

What you are seeing on the TurboTax Tax Home web page is just an arithmetic calculation to show you the Net of your State tax refund and the Federal taxes owed.  It in no way represents the federal taxes being paid from the state refund.  You will receive the full state tax refund assuming your state doe not make any changes.
